A few words about us
Transport to employment (T2E) provides transport to support access to employment. T2E provides information on existing transport options, where these are available, and can provide additional transport where appropriate.
T2E provides travel alternatives where existing public transport is not available to meet work times and shift patterns.
T2E users can make use of a journey planner specific to your needs, make new transport requests, and supplement existing transport to meet your needs.

Providing the best transport provision for your needs
Certified Providers
T2E uses registered professional transport providers to support your travel needs. Services will be provided by registered organisations, and we will provide a contact point for any further support you need.
Quality Services
T2E services will be planned to meet your timetable. We will make sure you can get to work shortly before your shift starts. We will also make sure you can get home shortly after your shift end.
Affordable Provision
We want to make sure that transport costs are not a barrier to getting to work. Travel costs are transparent and good value. You will know in advance what a trip costs, and we may be able to provide further help to cover the cost of a bus fare.

How we connect you from A to B
Registration
You will need to let us know about your travel needs, where you are travelling from and to; and times you need to get there (and back).
Travel Bookings
We will note your travel needs, shift start and end, childcare, or training times, and meet your transport needs, fill gaps in existing services, or provide new services if necessary. We will give you a personal timetable that will always get you to work before your shift starts, and pick you up after it ends.
Existing travel options
We will look at the existing transport services available, provide an overview for you, and link you into existing or new services where appropriate. This can include new services in one direction if an appropriate service would get you there or back in one direction.
On the Road
We know things change, people get ill, shift times change. We will provide a support line for you to work out any kinks, problems, or what we can do if something goes wrong.
Travel cost support
Travel cost support may be available in some circumstances, and we will work with you to find out what is available to your individual circumstances.

T2E Transport services are provided by local, professional, and registered transport companies. T2E is provided via Tactran, the Regional Transport Partnership, and Local Authorities across the region
